Vision
PEF-UK is an independent Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered with the UK's Charity Commission. (registration number 1168078).
Established in 2018, our mission is to alleviate poverty through professional education by supporting deserving students in Pakistan who have earned admission to professional universities but cannot afford their tuition fees.
We fund professional degrees in medicine, engineering, law, IT, AI, and business for academically outstanding students facing financial hardship. By helping them complete their education, we enable them to build successful careers and create lasting opportunities for themselves and their families.
To deliver this work, PEF-UK partners with the Professional Education Foundation Pakistan (PEF-PK), a registered trust in Pakistan. The two organisations operate under a mutual agreement to identify deserving students and provide the financial support they need to continue their education.
Since 2018, PEF-UK has helped fund more than 27,000 scholarships for deserving students across Pakistan.
As a Gift Aid eligible foundation, we can claim an extra 25% on eligible UK taxpayer donations at no additional cost, helping every donation make an even greater impact.
